Technical Coordinator - Residential Development

We are looking for a Technical Coordinator to join our client and support the delivery on a high-quality RC Frame residential development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to Technical Managers with day-to-day project management tasks
  • Review and process consultant and contractor drawing packages
  • Issue construction drawings and information following established protocols
  • Liaise with statutory service companies and local authorities to manage regulatory requirements
  • Work with with Architects, Engineers, and subcontractors to ensure information is shared and understood
  • Maintain compliance with Building Regulations and other statutory requirements
  • Prepare and check documents such as conveyance plans, brochure plans, technical specifications, and site documentation
  • Monitor consultant design information and ensure it is delivered on time
  • Assist with the selection and appointment of external design consultants
  • Address technical queries during the design and construction phases
  • Manage consultant fees and appointments
  • Work effectively with other teams, including Planning, Commercial, Construction, and Sales

What We're Looking For:

  • A solid understanding of the design process and knowledge of pre-construction, construction, and planning activities
  • Competence with BIW or similar systems
  • Ability to manage a demanding workload and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
