To support this mission, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Training and Site Welfare Supervisor to join our team.

Role Overview:As the Training and Site Welfare Supervisor, you will be responsible for the professional development of security personnel, ensuring their well-being, and overseeing site-specific compliance. You will play a key role in site risk assessments, employee appraisals, and on-site training, ensuring that all personnel are adequately prepared and supported in their roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement training programs in line with industry standards (including SIA and BS7858 requirements).
  • Conduct regular site risk assessments and site surveys to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Perform employee appraisals to evaluate performance, provide feedback, and support career development.
  • Manage and deliver employee on-site induction and training for new hires, ensuring familiarity with site-specific protocols and company policies.
  • Ensure the welfare of on-site security staff through regular site visits and direct engagement.
  • Collaborate with management to ensure employee welfare issues are addressed and resolved.
  • Oversee compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting site inspections and audits.
  • Maintain accurate records of all training, welfare, and compliance activities.
  • Facilitate ongoing professional development and refresher training sessions for current employees.
  • Support the integration of new policies and procedures, ensuring team alignment with best practices.

Essential Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence (clean).
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within security, training, or site welfare.
  • Strong understanding of UK health and safety legislation, including conducting risk assessments and site surveys.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple sites and travel to various locations as required.
  • Strong leadership qualities with a focus on staff development, welfare, and performance management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SIA licence holder or relevant certification.
  • Experience with training and development programs in the security industry.
  • Knowledge of BS7858 screening standards and experience conducting employee appraisals and site-specific inductions.
