Theyre searching for an experienced Workshop Foreman with a strong background and knowledge in Hydraulic Attachments. You will be responsible for the overall running of the workshop, ensuring the timely preparation of equipment, effective stock management, and adherence to Quality Control standards.

Key Duties:

  • Manage the daily attachment hire list, ensuring equipment is prepared on time and meets Quality Control standards.
  • Oversee repairs, maintenance, and servicing of both fleet and customer equipment to maintain optimal performance.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels of workshop consumables and tools, providing updates to the Depot Manager.
  • Conduct quarterly stock takes to ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Implement effective stock control and management to support smooth workshop operations.
  • Lead ongoing workshop improvements and remodeling to enhance efficiency and workflow.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment at all times.
  • Oversee facilities maintenance, including heating, electrics, and general repairs.
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations, including Fire Safety protocols.
  • Provide ongoing training and development for new employees to uphold high standards.

Requirements:

  • Forklift Truck licence
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Sound knowledge of Hydraulic Equipment / Attachments
  • Experience working within a Plant Hire Environment

Package:

  • Basic Salary - £43,000 per annum
  • Bonus Scheme - £1700 per annum
  • 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
  • Company Pension Scheme

Working Hours:

  • Monday - Friday
  • 7:00am - 5:00pm
  • 50 Hours Per Week
