Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to lead our automotive garage. This role involves overseeing all aspects of workshop operations, ensuring efficient workflow, high-quality repair standards, and exceptional customer satisfaction. You will manage a small team of technicians, coordinate diagnostic and repair services including mechanical, bodywork, and EV repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management: Supervise and diagnose vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance to ensure smooth, efficient operations.
  • Quoting and Customer Service: Provide accurate quotes for mechanical, bodywork, and EV repairs; clearly communicate repair needs and costs to reception.
  • EV Repair Supervision: Oversee EV repairs, ensuring compliance with current safety protocols and best practices.
  • Social Media and Business Promotion: Manage the workshops social media presence to showcase services, engage customers, and drive business growth.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, support, and train a team of technicians, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Quality Control and Safety Compliance: Ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards, including adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in a leadership role within the automotive repair industry.
  • Qualifications: Relevant automotive certifications; knowledge of EV repair practices is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills, with proficiency in social media will be an advantage.
  • Technical Knowledge: Expertise in automotive diagnostics, repair quoting, and EV maintenance.
