A dynamic and reputable Consultancy in London is looking for an ambitious Assistant Project Manager to join their team.

This role is an excellent opportunity for a professional with experience in office fit-outs, refurbishments, rebuilds, and commercial and leisure projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in professional practice and a BSc in a construction-related field.

The Assistant Construction Project Manager Role

The Assistant Project Manager will be involved in various aspects of construction project management, including:

  • Developing design briefs and specifications.
  • Preparing detailed costings for projects.
  • Handling planning permission and Building Regulations approvals.
  • Coordinating the appointment of design teams and specialist consultants.
  • Ensuring full coordination of all contractors involved in projects.
  • Managing costs comprehensively throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintaining consistent liaison with clients.
  • Overseeing health and safety management, including safety reviews and audits.
  • Producing As Built and maintenance manuals.

The Assistant Construction Project Manager

  • Has a minimum of 2 years' experience in a professional practice (consultancy, design, or contractor).
  • Holds a BSc in Construction Management or a related industry.
  • Demonstrates strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Exhibits excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
  • Is proactive and capable of working on diverse construction projects.
  • Vision of achieving professional chartership (MRICS or MCIOB)
