An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Assistant Contracts Manager to join our client's successful and established construction company
Reporting to the Contracts Manager you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring works undertaken by the repairs team are commercially viable
- Effectively supporting the management of all day to day contracts within a geographical region
- Perform contract administration duties for a range of contracts for reactive repairs, disrepair and void works
- Undertaking pre contract works including agreeing specifications with client teams, pricing works using schedule of rates packages and tracking orders
- Completing post contract works which includes monitoring projects from a cost perspective agreeing and capturing variations on site and submitting valuations and period billing for completed works
To be considered for this role you will need:
- Excellent knowledge of Nat Fed SOR's
- Recent experience within a similar role working in a commercially focused housing and/or contracting business
- Working knowledge of regulations
- Practical experience of managing projects
- Staff management
- Budgets
Hours of work Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
£50,000 PA + Company Car and Fuel card
