The Role: Leading the Digital Future of Architecture
As BIM & Design Systems Lead, you will be the driving force behind BIM strategy, technology, and implementation within the Environmental Engineering Group. Managing a high-performing BIM team, you will ensure that complex, large-scale projects are delivered seamlessly using cutting-edge tools and workflows.
Your Impact:
- Lead and manage the BIM team, overseeing Revit model production and coordination.
- Define and implement BIM standards, workflows, and best practices across Foster + Partners.
- Ensure the seamless integration of digital design systems across multiple global projects.
- Act as the key BIM representative, collaborating with clients, project teams, and external consultants.
- Support RFPs and define BIM scopes, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements.
- Provide technical mentorship, upskilling teams in Revit, Navisworks, and emerging digital tools.
- Manage BIM project data sets, clash detection, and model coordination.
What We’re Looking For
Technical Expertise:
- Deep expertise in BIM management, Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
- Ability to run clash detection, coordination, and digital model reviews.
- Strong understanding of BIM contractual requirements, risk management, and compliance.
Leadership & Collaboration:
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage teams across multiple projects.
- Experience working in an architectural or engineering environment on large-scale projects.
- Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise effectively, and manage multiple deadlines.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Architectural Technology (or equivalent).
- Experience as a BIM Coordinator or BIM Manager on complex projects.
