A market-leading international construction law team is looking for an experienced Senior Associate to join their London office. The firm are regarded as a true global elite construction boutique, with offices in the Middle East, UK and North America.The role focuses on contracts and transactional matters. If you have a background in advising on procurement routes, engineering and construction documentation, joint venture agreements, PFI/PPP documentation, and alliance agreements, this could be a fantastic opportunity to advance your career.Key Responsibilities:
  • Advising on procurement routes, engineering and construction documentation (including consultants’ appointments, building contracts, collateral warranties, third-party rights, and security documentation).
  • Drafting and negotiating construction contracts and related documentation.
  • Providing comprehensive project advice across a variety of sectors, including working with construction professionals, contractors, employers, operators, investors, and insurers.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, with a focus on business development.
  • Handling complex international projects, with the possibility of global exposure.
Ideal Candidate:
  • 6+ Years PQE with strong contracts and procurement experience in construction.
  • Experience advising clients in the construction industry, ideally with a background in private practice or in-house.
  • Strong client relationships and the ability to develop new business.
  • International project experience is preferred but not essential.
  • A collaborative and dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
