CONSTRUCTION PROJECT DIRECTOR VACANCY AVAILABLE!

Our client is seeking a Construction Project Director to join their team permanently. The Construction Project Director will be joining a growing company, working on a hybrid basis in either the London, Sheffield or Carlisle offices. The Construction Project Director must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial/construction and will be leading multiple projects across the country.

Key Responsibilities for the Construction Project Director:

  • Identify and implement productivity and cost improvements in the commercial and construction areas
  • Ensure that delivery contracts are well understood, managed, and contractually implemented promptly
  • Work with a wider team to set up projects commercially the right way
  • Ensure the visibility of the performance of the whole project team
  • Ensure the cost to date and forecast cost to compete are updated and reported on against each project
  • Ensure that sufficient resources are available to deliver the projects
  • Work alongside Chief Operating Officer (COO), Head of Commercial and other Directors

Skills Required for the Construction Project Director:

  • Extensive experience in commercial management and experienced in managing multi-disciplinary projects
  • Worked in commercial/construction with at least 5 years' experience leading complex commercial project management
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Provided commercial advice into management teams and how to manage risk and deal with any issues arising
