Description
- Lead and manage construction projects from start to post-completion, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
- Oversee project budgets, cash-flows, and contract appointments, ensuring timely delivery and build standards.
- Resolve construction issues related to health and safety, building quality, and compliance.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, including internal teams and external meetings, to align project goals.
- Ensure project milestones and grant requirements are met, particularly with GLA/HE.
- Monitor progress, report anomalies, and ensure adherence to organisational policies and regulations
Profile
- Strong understanding of development and construction processes across various building types.
- Knowledge of contract law, procurement practices, and managing complex development schemes.
- Experience in project and programme management, including financial oversight and cashflow management.
- Skilled in building and managing high-performing project teams and working with consultants.
- Excellent procurement, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with contractors and partners.
- Ability to manage workloads, motivate teams, and effectively control project costs
