Development Project Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Development Project Manager to join a large volume house builder. In this critical role, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential legal and financial risks associated with past legacy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of legacy projects to identify areas of potential liability.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel to understand and address legal implications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external parties, including contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
  • Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Manage and oversee remediation projects to address identified risks.
  • Negotiate and administer contracts to minimise liability.
  • Monitor project budgets and ensure timely completion.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong understanding of construction law and contract law.
  • Proven experience in project management and risk management.
  • Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
