Cobalt Recruitment are delighted to be working with an industry-leading Developer/Contractor business focused on large-scale residential / new build property, to recruit a permanent Development Project Manager for their London office covering RIBA stage 3 to 7. This excellent opportunity is offering an annual salary of £55,000-£75,000 per annum, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will be thick-skinned, resilient and strong-minded who can navigate through problems and have a more mouldable approach, being smarter to find solutions, particularly at construction phase.

You will lead and manage development projects, ensuring schemes are delivered on time and within budget. This includes overseeing all project milestones, coordinating the activities of third-party consultants and contractors, and managing their appointments. You will be responsible for presenting progress reports and challenging processes to ensure value for money, while closely monitoring the performance of professional teams and contractors.

A crucial aspect of this role is managing projects from RIBA stage 3 to 7, ensuring smooth transitions and efficient delivery across all phases of development. You will also ensure that all legal due diligence and compliance requirements are met for each development project.

You will have/be:

  • Strong experience in project management within the construction or development sector.
  • Track record delivering successful large-scale residential / new build property projects.
  • Excellent Project Lifecycle experience from planning through to completion (RIBA stage 3-7).
  • Effective leadership and communication skills, at all levels.
