We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Development Project Manager to join a large volume house builder. In this critical role, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential legal and financial risks associated with past legacy projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough reviews of legacy projects to identify areas of potential liability.
- Collaborate with legal counsel to understand and address legal implications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external parties, including contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
- Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Manage and oversee remediation projects to address identified risks.
- Negotiate and administer contracts to minimise liability.
- Monitor project budgets and ensure timely completion.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong understanding of construction law and contract law.
- Proven experience in project management and risk management.
- Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
