We're recruiting for a well experienced, knowledgeable Engineering Manager to join our client on a fantastic, critical site based in East London! You'll be joining a market leader within building services, exposure to a high end site, receive a generous package which includes car allowance, private pension, private health / dental care and the opportunities to progress further internally. As an Engineering Manager, you will oversee the day to day operations of all engineering duties on site, weekly client meetings, assess all plant equipment, hit KPIs and SLAs, management of all subcontractors coming to site, provide technical support and ensure the overall M&E management on site.To be successful in the Engineering Manager role, you must be fully qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent), a minimum of 5 years in a critical environment, strong communication skills, managing teams and a great understanding of commercial maintenance Engineering Manager Duties:

  • Overseeing all electrical technical M&E services on site, through exemplary in-house and contractor management.
  • Electrical upgrades, asset replacement and project works.
  • Monitoring performance of M&E service partners on site.
  • Implementation of sustainability and energy consumption initiatives.
  • Electrical design reviews.
  • Provide best in class customer service to tenants.
  • Daily client and tenant liaison.
  • Overseeing small and large M&E project works on site.
  • Overseeing M&E plant replacement projects.

Engineering Manager Requirements:

  • Qualified in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent)
  • At least 5 years experience within a critical environment
  • Experience managing teams of M&E engineers within a commercial environment
  • Great communication skills
  • Great understanding of commercial maintenance
  • High Voltage AP experience would be desirable
  • Live within commutable distance to site

Salary and Package:
