Interim Programme Manager (Commercial Build)

Panoramic Associates is currently working with a Local Authority client based in London to facilitate the appointment of an experienced Programme Manager to manage the project initiation, planning, execution, program management, budgeting, and risk management of accessible work spaces.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Create and write procurement packs.
  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships with local community and businesses.
  • Lead day-to-day project management.
  • Produce management reports for senior management and presenting findings back to the project board.
  • Proficiency in handling project finances, budgets, programme/ timetable and reporting.
  • Managing and prioritising a diverse workload and conflicting deadlines/ time management. Delivering key project elements on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable experience in project management within a local Authority, ideally related to built environment, regeneration, placemaking, or affordable workspace areas.
  • Familiarity with the construction industry and understanding of the client's role desirable.
  • Prince2 Qualification or equivalent desirable but not essential
  • Experience in local authority (LA) commissioning services, public procurement, and contract management.
  • Knowledge of S106 and other Planning policy desirable

Next Steps

This role is an initial 6-month contract with likely extension. The IR35 status is to be determined. Office requirements are 1-2 days per week.
