The Role:
This is an interim project role, lasting 12 months, focused on managing tax aspects of restructuring projects within the UK. This role will collaborate closely with legal and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead UK legal entity rationalisation, including handling tax aspects related to trade and asset transfers, balance sheet assessments, and inter-company balance reviews, ensuring tax affairs are managed appropriately.
  • Review inter-company processes, including policy evaluation, systems setup, currency matters, settlements, and withholding tax considerations.
  • Rationalise inter-company loans, including debt capitalisation, share premium reductions, and related actions.
  • Prepare documentation for inter-company transactions, including loans.
  • Develop a tax compliance database for the UK and other regions.
  • Support additional ad hoc tax projects as required.

Candidate Profile:

  • Relevant qualification such as CTA, ACA, CA, or equivalent.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK tax laws, including structuring.
  • Self-motivated with strong project management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
  • Right to work in the UK
