Salary: 65,000 - 75,000 per annum

Our client is a prominent player in the construction industry, specializing in critical services and commercial projects. With a focus on both new build and fit-out elements, their portfolio includes significant commercial upgrades and refurbishments. They are known for handling high-value projects, with ongoing and future phases being secured.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced M&E Construction Manager to oversee critical services and commercial projects in West London. This role involves managing significant projects valued between 10 million and 15 million, including both new builds and refurbishments. You will report directly to an M&E Project Manager and play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of ongoing and future phases of work.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:
Manage all M&E aspects of commercial construction projects, including new builds and refurbishments.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with all stakeholders.

Technical Oversight:
Oversee the installation and commissioning of M&E systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Resolve any technical issues that arise during the project.

Contract Management:
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, managing day-to-day operations on-site.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality control.
Implement and maintain health and safety policies, conducting risk assessments as necessary.

Client and Stakeholder Communication:
Act as the primary contact for all M&E aspects of the project, maintaining communication with clients and stakeholders.
Attend project meetings to provide updates and address any issues.
Ensure client requirements and specifications are met or exceeded.

Progress Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily logs and site reports.
Prepare and submit regular progress reports to the M&E Project Manager.

Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience as an M&E Construction Manager, particularly in commercial construction projects.
Strong knowledge of M&E systems, construction management practices, and relevant regulations.
Relevant qualifications in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Strong communication skills, with experience in client and stakeholder management.
