My client is a globally recognised, market-leading Tier 1 M&E contractor with extensive experience delivering high-profile projects across the UK and Europe. They specialisein a wide range of sectors, including major commercial, health care, and mission-critical developments.

They are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical ConstructionManager to oversee the pre-construction and delivery of a large-scale commercial Shell & Core project in central London worth 92mil M&E. This project is set to begin on-site in March 2025, with completion scheduled for September 2027.

Roles and responsibilities:
  • Develop and oversee the Mechanical construction plan, including scope, budget, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Supervise and coordinate electricians, subcontractors, and other site personnel, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Monitor and manage project costs, ensuring work stays within the allocated budget while maintaining quality standards.
  • Plan and update work schedules to ensure timely completion of Mechanical installations and coordinate with other trades on-site.
  • Conduct regular site visits to inspect Mechanical installations, ensuring they meet design specifications and comply with safety standards.
  • Ensure all Mechanical work complies with health and safety regulations, and oversee the implementation of safety protocols on site.
