Mechanical Construction Manager Opportunity - Central London Commercial Fit Out

We are proud to be working with a dynamic and growing M&E contractor with a big presence in the commercial fit out space who due to recent growth and project wins, are looking to engage with an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to join their growing London teams.

They have multiple live proiects across Central London and the West End and have recently won a number of new projects with their prestigious main contractor clients. This is a chance to join a well respected team and grow with an established M&E contractor who have a big focus on staff development.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive mechanical project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets in coordination with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure projectobjectivesand specifications are met.

  • Oversee & manage the mechanical construction process including the integration of mechanical packages into the overall project, ensuring projects are completed according to design, schedule, and budget.

  • Lead the on-site mechanical construction activities, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and quality standards.

  • Supervise subcontractors, supervisors,and other site staff, assigning tasks and responsibilities to ensure that all team members are clear on their roles, providing guidance and resolving any issues that arise.

  • Carry out regular site inspections tomonitorprogress and address any potential mechanical issues.

  • Carry out regular safety audits and training sessions, ensuring all mechanical construction activitiescomply withhealth and safety regulations and all necessary permits andlicencesare obtained for the project.

  • Review and approve completed work to ensure it meets specifications and high-quality standards of workmanship and materials throughout the project, addressing any quality issues effectively in coordination with BCAR.
