We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Planner to join a growing operational team and play a key role in the successful delivery of major construction and engineering projects. Based in Central London, this position offers the opportunity to work across a variety of complex, fast-paced environments and influence how operational projects are planned, tracked, and delivered.
The RoleAs a Planner, you'll be central to the effective delivery of operational programmes, providing strategic input and guidance to project teams across all phases-from tender and feasibility through to handover. You will collaborate closely with Project Managers and stakeholders to shape realistic, efficient project plans and help drive performance.
Key Responsibilities-
Build and manage detailed project programmes from inception to completion

Identify project constraints, scope, and resource requirements

Support tender planning, feasibility studies, and bid submissions

Monitor project progress, flag delays, and implement corrective actions

Advise on labour, plant, and material requirements

Produce accurate progress reports and data-driven insights for stakeholders

Promote planning best practices and embed continuous improvement

Act as the key point of contact for planning across designated projects

Contribute to planning capability and lessons learned sharing
Knowledge & Experience:
-
2+ years' experience in construction project planning (M&E or general build)

Operational knowledge of planning systems and project lifecycle management

Familiarity with BIM and integrated planning methodologies

Experience using planning software (e.g., MS Project, Asta Powerproject)

Commercial awareness and understanding of construction industry challenges

Preferred Qualifications:

HNC or Degree in Construction or Building Services Engineering

5 GCSEs at grade C/5 or above, including Maths and English
