We're looking for a Project / Programme Controls Manager to join my client on a HS2 contract in West London.
This role is a freelance position with the potential to continue for up to 5 years.
My client is looking for someone with experience working in a Network Rail environment and working within P6, EV Reporting, Dashboards, Metrics, Project Management Plans.
Inside of IR35 so you will be paid via Umbrella PAYE or Randstad PAYE.
The selected candidate will be based on site 4 days a week - 10 mins from North Acton Station.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Establish effective control processes within the programme in accordance with the appropriate governance structure.
- Maintain a register of all projects and monitor and report against programme plans and performance objectives, highlighting variance from plan, risks and corrective actions.
- Review new project proposals / definitions and their deliverability whilst identifying and facilitating cross-functional initiatives/projects that will secure efficiencies and reduce duplication of effort.
- Provide accurate and timely periodic reporting to project sponsors, senior management and key stakeholders.
- Perform analysis of specific performance issues identified as part of the programme's reporting framework, or as directed by senior management.
- Establish and maintain an effective reporting and communication framework for the programme.
- Manage the development and production of the Integrated Plan as part of the business planning process.
- Manage and comply with Company procedures to provide appropriate resources, communication strategies, training and competency to safely deliver accountabilities.
Requirements
- Experience working as a Project Controls Manager
- Fire certifications or equivalent
- A background in either infrastructure or building construction projects.
- CSCS
