The Royal Borough of Greenwich is looking for a skilled Project Manager to oversee complex, high-value void property projects, ensuring safety, compliance, and quality standards are met from start to finish. This role is pivotal in driving efficient project delivery across a range of repairs and refurbishment initiatives, all while meeting Council and public funding guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead projects from specification to completion, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and health and safety standards.
  • Work closely with contractors, insurance providers, and council teams to deliver value-for-money, compliant projects.
  • Manage a small team directly, with additional oversight of contractor staff, supporting decant processes and maintaining resident engagement.
  • Oversee budgeting, cost control, and project documentation for reporting and compliance.
About You:
  • Qualifications: Project Management (Prince2 or equivalent) and ideally NEBOSH or IOSH certified.
  • Experience: Strong background in project management for housing or a similar sector, with an emphasis on building safety.
  • Skills: Leadership, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills, with experience in motivating teams and managing risks in high-stakes projects.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of CDM, health and safety, fire safety, and construction regulations.
