We are working with a highly reputable construction consultancy firm who are seeking experienced Project Managers to join their Life Science Real Estate team. You will have the opportunity to work with a leading client base, taking charge of significant projects within the life sciences and pharmaceutical sectors. Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager:

  • Conduct background research, data collection, and benchmarking.
  • Lead technology and innovation projects, including laboratories, biotech facilities, and data centres.
  • Implement effective processes and systems throughout project lifecycles.
  • Monitor and document project progress, ensuring performance indicators are met.
  • Manage and track project changes, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Prepare project communication materials, progress reports, and other documentation.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and designers to ensure project success.
  • Attend project meetings, drafting minutes and follow-ups as required.
  • Support business development by preparing presentations and maintaining internal databases.

Qualifications & Experience of the ideal Project Manager:

  • Minimum of 5 years' project management experience, preferably in construction or real estate.
  • Relevant qualification in project management or construction management.
  • Member of a chartered institute such as RICS or willing to work towards membership.
  • Strong understanding of construction industry themes like Net Zero Carbon, and the Digital Agenda.
  • Experience managing large-scale technology and innovation projects in the life sciences sector.
  • Experience in master planning, estate development, and capital project planning is desirable.
  • Familiarity with NEC contract administration.
  • Demonstrated success in client-facing roles, managing stakeholders at all levels.
