This leading construction consultancy firm is currently seeking experienced Project Managers with a background in the Industrial, Sciences, and Technology sectors to join their Data Centre team in London. This role involves managing large-scale data centre construction projects for major clients across Europe, ensuring seamless delivery from project inception all the way through to commissioning.

This role is perfect for someone who is looking for rapid progression and a forward - thinking team. With a range of exciting and cutting-edge projects, you can ensure no two days will be the same!

As a Project Manager, you will:

  • Provide strategic advice during project conception, offering insights into different approaches to achieve client objectives.
  • Establish overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical, and performance parameters.
  • Lead the development of detailed project plans and manage ongoing quality, safety, health, and environmental considerations.
  • Establish effective governance, processes, and systems for project success.
  • Advise on resource procurement and manage cross-functional project teams.
  • Monitor project performance using KPIs and manage the change control process.
  • Oversee project finances and manage the flow of information between the team and clients.
  • Produce formal project progress reports and maintain client communication throughout.
  • Support staff management and knowledge transfer within the organisation.

Qualifications the Project Manager will need:

  • 3+ years of project management experience, ideally in the data centre or digital infrastructure environment.
  • Construction consultancy experience is highly preferred.
  • Professional qualifications in construction, project management, engineering, or architecture.
  • Chartered status or on the path to achieving it.
  • Strong understanding of the full project life cycle from conception to completion.
  • In-depth knowledge of project management tools and techniques.
  • Experience in general construction, including residential, office, or education projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
