About the role

As a Project Officer, you will oversee and deliver a portfolio of cyclical and planned investment projects, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities include:

  • Managing small / medium projects to budget and timescale
  • Supporting wider project team with project documentation and system management
  • Liaising with contractors and consultants, overseeing quality control, and ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
  • Conducting risk assessments, financial appraisals, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Engaging with residents and stakeholders, facilitating consultations, and resolving customer issues to optimise satisfaction.

About You:

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Solid project management skills, particularly in major repair projects.
  • Strong organisational, financial, and communication skills to manage diverse tasks efficiently.
  • The ability to adapt, prioritise, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of landlord-tenant law and health and safety regulations.
  • Experience in managing contractors and maintaining effective relationships.

  • Project Management: Initiate, manage, and complete projects using various project management techniques, including cash flow analysis, risk management, and quality benchmarking.
  • Contract Oversight: Liaise with contractors and consultants, ensure compliance with procurement strategies, and maintain clear communication across all stakeholders.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with residents to facilitate project consultations, address concerns, and ensure that feedback is considered in project planning.
  • Financial Monitoring: Oversee budgets, process invoices, and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain financial control.
