Your Role and Responsibilities:In this diverse and exciting role, you'll be supporting project teams on high-profile schemes within complex infrastructure. You will manage project governance controls across diverse projects in Transportation, Infrastructure, and Energy.Key responsibilities include:

  • Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB): Establish, monitor, and manage PMB, periodically reporting on KPIs and progress related to time, cost, risk, change, and quality.
  • Performance Measurement System: Develop and implement earned value management systems and integrate them into regular reporting.
  • Change Control Processes: Implement change control processes, facilitate change forums, and coordinate contributors to conduct change impact assessments.
  • Reporting and Communication: Lead periodic and ad-hoc reporting, ensuring quality and accuracy to support decision-making.
  • Project Integration: Combine schedule, cost, scope, quality, change, and risk data for a comprehensive view of project health.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and guide the Project Controls team, providing clear objectives, performance appraisals, and feedback to foster a supportive and innovative environment.

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience leading project controls in large, complex infrastructure or construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge in schedule, cost, and risk management, with hands-on experience in these areas.
  • Functional leadership experience in a Project Controls team, delivering results in large-scale project settings.
  • Expertise in stakeholder management within a matrix structure, with the ability to work horizontally across business areas and vertically to senior levels.
  • Familiarity with transport, energy, major infrastructure, or construction projects, ideally within NEC contract frameworks.
  • Qualifications in Project Controls or Project Management from APM or similar accrediting bodies are a plus.
