We are excited to present an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a dynamic multidisciplinary consultancy. In this role, you will lead and contribute to a diverse range of construction projects across housing, regeneration, education, commercial, care, and health sectors. This position also includes responsibility as a Project Team Leader, offering you the chance to mentor and guide colleagues while delivering exceptional project outcomes.

About the Role

As a key member of the cost consultancy, project management, and employer’s agent team, you’ll collaborate with both internal and external partners to ensure successful project delivery. This role offers a mix of hands-on project management and leadership responsibilities, perfect for someone looking to advance their career in construction consultancy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the Contract Administrator or Employer’s Agent across a variety of construction projects, utilizing standard forms of construction contracts.
  • Liaise with clients to present schemes, discuss project programming, and manage delivery expectations.
  • Lead the appointment and performance management of Professional Teams.
  • Conduct regular site visits and issue detailed inspection reports.
  • Prepare and present feasibility and appraisal reports.
  • Develop and present outline design proposals, including budget estimations.
  • Oversee the preparation of full working drawings, contract administration, and tendering processes.
  • Mentor and train colleagues as part of the Project Team Leader responsibilities.
What We’re Looking For
  • A BSc (Hons) degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Associate membership of RICS or an equivalent recognized qualification.
  • Proven experience in Construction Project Management (consultancy experience is highly preferred).
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, contracts, and team leadership.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
