Temporary Works Co-ordinator (UK-wide)

Role Description

The Resolute Group are working in partnership with a Tier 1 organisation, supporting the delivery of the National Grid power upgrade. We are looking for a Temporary Works Co-ordinator who can transfer your skills from the Infrastructure sector into National Grid projects.

You don't need experience with National Grid or the Power sector, just the engineering knowledge of Temporary Works in any of the following sectors:

  • Highways
  • Rail
  • Water
  • Aviation
  • Environmental
  • Power / Energy / Major projects.

The temporary works on national grid projects include Scaffolding, Earthworks, Temporary platforms, access and excavations. These are linked to the new Pylons, Sub stations and HV cabling being installed across the UK. Each project has a designated TWC (Temporary works coordinator) assigned to work with that project team. Overseeing the various TWC works and interfacing with the design consultancies and site teams.

This role is a site-based position, working as part of the team delivering the National Grid project, learn and developing your skills in how the projects are delivered. Ultimately this role will progress either into Project management or Engineering Management as the 10 year framework develops.

You can be based anywhere in the UK as you will be assigned a project anywhere in England or Wales, with £1500 subsistence paid each month on top of your salary and package.

Required Experience

Degree in an Engineering subject be it Structural, Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering.

Temporary Work experience on a live project, going to site.

Full driving licence.
