My client, a well-established private hospital in the heart of London, are seeking a dedicated Fabric Assistant to handle various fabric-related tasks including painting, maintenance, and decorating across our facilities. This role offers a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and opportunities for career advancement.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Mix paints, match colours, prepare surfaces, and apply paint to these surfaces. You may also perform touch-ups or coordinate larger painting projects.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance inspections in accordance with Clinic procedures.
  • Participate in a four-on-four off shift system, including night shifts, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in painting & decorating.
  • Strong awareness of health & safety legislation and experience working to safe systems of work.
  • Ability to climb ladders and carry heavy equipment.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards in all work and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
