We are currently seeking an experienced and professional Painter & Decorator to join a leading facilities management provider on a prestigious commercial contract in the heart of the City of London. This is a static role in a state-of-the-art office building that houses high-end corporate clients with exacting standards. You will play a key part in maintaining the immaculate appearance of the interior environment and supporting the soft maintenance team with general decoration projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out interior painting and decorating to a high finish across office floors, meeting rooms, reception areas and communal spaces

  • Undertake touch-ups, full repaints, surface preparation, wall lining, filling, sanding, and repairs as needed

  • Apply paint, varnishes, and wallpaper in line with design and brand specifications

  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard with minimal disruption to clients

  • Liaise with the facilities team and on-site management to plan and prioritise workloads

  • Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of work areas at all times

  • Conduct condition inspections of surfaces and walls and report any defects

  • Adhere to all health & safety procedures, including correct use of PPE and materials

  • Maintain stock of paints, materials, and decorating tools

  • Occasionally support with light fabric maintenance tasks if required

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Painter/Decorator in a commercial or high-end environment

  • Excellent attention to detail and high standards of workmanship

  • Strong understanding of preparation and application techniques

  • Good communication skills and a client-facing approach

  • C&G/NVQ in painting/decorating (desirable)
