O&M Electrical Safety Implementation Lead (Offshore Wind)

Remote working / Home-based role with occasional travel to Poland when required.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Creating operational procedures, switching procedures and implementing electric safety rules and control of Hazardous Energy for the O&M phase of the Project
  • Align and bridge the required deliverables for the O&M phase with associated deliverables from Construction

Major Tasks:
  • Establish O&M Electrical Safety rules following local legislation / international standards
  • Establish and implement O&M electrical safety training / nomination procedures and approvals for relevant electrical roles
  • Establish Electrical Operation Philosophy for Low Voltage / High Voltage Operations / work
  • Lead review and acceptance of relevant electrical Operation Manuals
  • Review project interlocking concepts for O&M
  • Establish electrical switching philosophy and procedures for O&M
  • Establish communication procedures towards the O&M contractors with the focus on electrical work or tasks to be performed
  • Provide guidance to contractors with regards to electrical safety requirements and requirements for the control of
  • Hazardous Energy and bridge training, processes, procedures and systems with the various O&M contractors
  • Establish site procedures for acceptance of RAMS for performance of O&M works while under electrical safety rules
  • Set-up and perform a review and acceptance process of RAMS for works during operation
  • Implement and supervise relevant training for O&M electrical staff according to the electrical safety rules
  • Provide input into the handover process from commissioning to O&M

Qualifications:
  • BSc, MSc in electric engineering or other relevant electrical degree min. Equivalent to the EQF Level 06. All necessary certificates in place to fulfil the role in acc. To the PN-EN (phone number removed)
  • 5+ years' experience in working with O&M or electric team in offshore wind projects and / or in HV related project management in powerplants with a focus on electrical Safety / WTSR
  • 5+ years of experience in electric engineering / commissioning and electrical Safety related roles or other relevant electrical work experience (HV)
