What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years’ experience in risk assessment within the built environment for residential and/or commercial buildings.
  • 5+ years' experience in delivering fire risk assessments.
  • General Risk Assessment Skills: Experience with buildings and knowledge of UK regulations.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of Approved Document B, BS 9999, and BS 9997.
  • Risk Assessment Competency: Education and skills to assess fire and health & safety risks for buildings of seven or more floors.
  • Strong Communicators: Articulate, with clear communication and strong report writing skills.

Required Qualifications

  • NEBOSH General Certificate: Or equivalent in Health & Safety.
  • Fire Safety Memberships: Such as MIFireE, GIFireE, MIFSM, or working towards these.
  • Fire Risk Assessor Registrations: Willingness to apply or register with IFSM, FRACS, IFPO, or IFE.
  • Fire Safety Qualifications: Minimum level 4, such as CFPA - E Dip or equivalent.
