Our client is a leading housing provider in London with a strong local presence. We are currently assisting them in the recruitment of an experienced Building Safety Manager.

This is a full-time role which offers a hybrid and flexible working pattern, the main responsibility of the role will include:

-Overseeing the management of Higher Risk Residential Buildings (HRRBs) in the area according to the safety case report and regulatory requirements
- Ensure buildings and systems comply with statutory obligations and the Health and Safety File
- Control and reduce risks to life and building safety
- Conduct and review fire risk assessments and ensure timely remediation
- Ensure compliance with building fire strategies and maintain fire compartmentation
- Monitor contractor performance and compliance with duties set out in statutes
- Maintain building safety information (Golden Thread) related to design, construction, and maintenance
- Engage with residents on safety management, provide clear escalation routes for concerns, and ensure timely action on issues
- Stay updated on relevant legislation, regulations, and guidelines
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure work complies with fire safety strategies
