We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Building Safety Manager to join a leading social housing provider. This role is based in Holborn and includes eligibility for smarter working policy. This position is perfect for a professional with a strong technical background in housing and property safety, looking to make a significant impact in building safety management.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Develop and enhance Building Safety Management systems (BSMs) and safety regimes to improve customer safety and engagement.
  • Proactively prevent building safety incidents and reduce the severity of incidents should they occur.
  • Utilize data, site surveys, and customer feedback to anticipate potential issues and implement mitigating actions.
  • Review, instigate, and record quality assurance interventions to build evidence supporting BSMs and the production of building safety cases.
  • Serve as a key contact both internally and with third-party stakeholders to ensure building occupants are safe and feel secure.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong technical knowledge of the Building Safety Act, Building Regulations, and British Standards.
  • Experience in housing and property management.
  • Excellent project management and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team focused on customer service, competence, cultural change, collaboration, and information sharing.
  • Full driving licence and access to transport due to the travel requirements of the role.
