Building Safety Project Manager

Building Safety Project Manager opportunity working for a leading main contractor in London who are known for delivering major commercial and residential projects in the heart of the capital.

This Building Safety Project Manager is a new role in the business, created to support some of the major projects in the pipeline which are circa 200m.

Building Safety Project Manager role:

Looking for Building Safety Champions who know the Building safety act well and can act on this main contractors behalf by ensuring all projects are compliant with the Building safety Act.

The building safety Project manager will be hands on and working closely with the delivery teams so it will be a hybrid role between clerk of works and project management.

Building Safety Project Manager responsibilities:

Tasked with ensuring all records are in place, interrogating the system, digitalise, document and show evidence that the projects are compliant.

Work closely with the Project Directors and Operations Directors to shape this role as it is a new position in the business.

Building Safety Project Manager requirements:

Good understanding of the Golden thread and be proactive in ensuring all the correct steps are carried out.

Ideally this person will come from a construction background to have the mutual understanding between Site and auditing.

Excellent communication with senior Directors to be able to roll out new process and procedures.
