Fire Safety Manager

Are you looking for the next step in your Fire Safety career? Do you want to work in a fast-paced and varied environment?

One of the most well-known performing arts organisations in the UK are looking to recruit a new Fire Safety Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to work for an organisation with a strong public presence and interesting historical background. This role will be the lead on Fire Safety across the estate, working closely with the wider Health and Safety team, and reporting directly to the Head of Health and Safety.

Responsibilities of the Fire Safety Manager will include:

  • Provide advice to ensure legal and policy compliance, including the Building Safety Act.
  • Create and update fire safety policies and risk assessments, helping managers mitigate fire risks.
  • Lead fire safety audits, inspections, and track performance to ensure corrective actions are completed.
  • Work with stakeholders and train staff to promote fire safety awareness and best practices.

The successful Fire Safety Manager will have:

  • Must have a Diploma in Fire Safety and preferably graduate membership of the IFE
  • Proven fire safety experience, within a similar environment (eg. Arts, facilities management, hospitality, retail, property, or related background)
  • Extensive knowledge of ongoing changes to fire safety regulations
  • Excellent communications skills with proven experience of engaging with a range of stakeholders
