About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive individual to oversee all aspects of fire safety management. This is an opportunity to make a tangible difference by implementing fire safety policies, providing expert advice, and delivering practical solutions to enhance resident safety.

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct fire risk assessments (FRAs) across housing assets, ensuring the FRA programme is delivered on time and to the highest standards.
  • Implement quality assurance programmes to maintain and improve fire safety compliance.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, advising and supporting teams on fire safety legislation, standards, and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain fire risk management policies, ensuring they align with evolving regulations and resident needs.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to embed fire safety into the design and construction phases of new developments.
  • Act as a specialist in areas such as sheltered accommodation, temporary housing, or fire engineering, providing tailored guidance and solutions.
  • Train and support staff to foster a culture of fire safety awareness and compliance.
  • Deputise for senior team members when needed, showcasing your leadership and expertise.
What We're Looking For
  • A thorough understanding of fire safety legislation, building regulations, and best practices.
  • Experience conducting fire risk assessments and managing compliance programmes.
