In this role, you will:
- Conduct fire risk assessments (FRAs) across housing assets, ensuring the FRA programme is delivered on time and to the highest standards.
- Implement quality assurance programmes to maintain and improve fire safety compliance.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, advising and supporting teams on fire safety legislation, standards, and best practices.
- Develop and maintain fire risk management policies, ensuring they align with evolving regulations and resident needs.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to embed fire safety into the design and construction phases of new developments.
- Act as a specialist in areas such as sheltered accommodation, temporary housing, or fire engineering, providing tailored guidance and solutions.
- Train and support staff to foster a culture of fire safety awareness and compliance.
- Deputise for senior team members when needed, showcasing your leadership and expertise.
- A thorough understanding of fire safety legislation, building regulations, and best practices.
- Experience conducting fire risk assessments and managing compliance programmes.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret performance data and prioritise fire safety initiatives effectively.
- Excellent communication and training abilities to engage with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
- Relevant fire safety qualifications and professional experience in a similar role.
