Fire Safety Project Manager
拢425p/d Umbrella Rate (INSIDE IR35)
Contract Role
London Borough of Newham
3-month initial contract (with view to extend)

What will you do?
As a Fire Safety Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing fire safety responsibilities within the Council.
Reporting to the Fire Safety Manager, you will oversee the Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) process, ensuring actions are assigned, managed, and completed.
Additionally, you will lead FRA Task Group meetings, supporting senior management in the successful delivery of fire safety actions.


Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the FRA process and tracking the completion of actions
- Chairing FRA Task Group meetings
- Presenting KPI reports on fire safety programmes
- Collaborating with the Building Safety Team to ensure compliance with fire safety legislation and Council policies
- Working closely with key internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, fire enforcement bodies, and partners
- Developing policies and procedures to enhance team and departmental performance
- Using a variety of software and databases, with strong proficiency in Microsoft tools
