Health & Safety Manager - Commercial Fit-out company

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated Health & Safety Manager to oversee and enhance our safety protocols across our offices and construction sites. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update Health & Safety documents for theoffices
  • Conduct site visits to assist with compiling preconstruction information (PCIs)
  • Develop and set up Construction Phase Plans (CPPs) for submission
  • Perform random site inspections during the construction phase using our site check template
  • Support all health & safety matters related to ISO requirements
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure safety standards are met and exceeded

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Health & Safety Manager, preferably in the construction industry
  • Must have site-based construction experience
  • Ideally from a fit-out company background
  • NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of UK health and safety regulations and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and health & safety software
