Health & Safety Manager - Commercial Fit-out company

About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated Health & Safety Manager to oversee and enhance our safety protocols across our offices and construction sites. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update Health & Safety documents for theoffices
- Conduct site visits to assist with compiling preconstruction information (PCIs)
- Develop and set up Construction Phase Plans (CPPs) for submission
- Perform random site inspections during the construction phase using our site check template
- Support all health & safety matters related to ISO requirements
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure safety standards are met and exceeded
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Health & Safety Manager, preferably in the construction industry
- Must have site-based construction experience
- Ideally from a fit-out company background
- NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of UK health and safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and health & safety software
