Are you an experienced health & safety professional within the rail sector and seeking a new opportunity? I am currently working with a specialist rail infrastructure business that is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to join the team to work across London projects working alongside clients such as Network Rail, TFL, and LUL so knowledge of rail legislation is a must to be considered for the position. The ideal candidate not only will have strong knowledge of rail legislation but experience working in behavioural safety environment. .

The Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for:

• Hosting regular health & safety meeting with suppliers and contractor
  • Produce reports and analysis data to support solutions.
  • Sharing health & safety best practices across the business
  • Provide competent support to suppliers and contractors across the business.
  • Be the go for health & safety support, advice and guidance for site teams.
  • Lead on accident investigations and near misses to identify root causes and implement improvement plans.
  • Conduct risk assessments and method statements for sites when required.
  • Promote a positive and proactive health & safety culture across all the business

The Health & Safety Manager will have:

• 5 years of experience working in health & safety
  • Previously worked in the rail sector with strong rail legislation knowledge
  • NEBOSH Diploma ideally, would consider candidates who are working towards.
  • Happy to work 1 week of nights per month  
  • Driving license, some sites are remote so require a car to travel
