Join a well-established Health Safety and Fire Team in Witham, where you'll lead diverse and impactful projects across various premises. The Role

As a Health Safety & Fire Consultant, you will take the lead on a range of projects, ensuring that all activities meet agreed quality, cost, and timescale standards. You will design and implement comprehensive Health Safety and Fire Management Systems, conduct inspections and audits, and support other risk and safety projects, including those related to High-Risk Residential Buildings (HRRB) and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert technical consultancy to clients
  • Stay up-to-date with current legislation, national and international standards, and technical developments
  • Respond to client requests and proposals with precision and professionalism
  • Utilise technical tools and methodologies to deliver projects to the highest standards
  • Mentor junior staff and ensure compliance with site safety practices during site work

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
  • NEBOSH Fire Certificate or equivalent
  • IOSH membership
  • Working towards membership of IFSM, IFE, or IIRSM
  • Extensive experience in a Health & Safety and Fire role under an established management system
  • Operational site experience
  • Strong analytical and report writing skills
