Fire Safety Project Manager

We're looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Fire Safety Compliance Lead to oversee our fire safety programme and ensure best practice in all fire risk management activities. This role is integral to upholding safety standards, leading on fire risk assessment (FRA) processes, and fostering strong collaborative partnerships across teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • FRA Management: Lead on all aspects of fire risk assessments, ensuring timely action, follow-ups, and compliance. Oversee FRA Task Group meetings and manage outcomes with precision.
  • Reporting & KPIs: Develop and present key performance indicator reports to highlight the programme's effectiveness, address areas of improvement, and guide future actions.
  • Team Leadership: Provide management oversight and mentorship to team members, driving performance to meet and exceed fire safety objectives.
  • Collaboration & Policy Development: Work closely with the Building Safety Team to establish and enhance fire safety procedures, policies, and compliance strategies. Engage with key stakeholders, including enforcement bodies and contractors, to maintain the highest standards.
  • Software & Data Management: Use various software tools, databases, and advanced Microsoft Office applications to manage fire safety data, ensuring accurate records and streamlined processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in fire safety management with a deep understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Leadership & Communication: Strong people management skills, capable of influencing and guiding both internal teams and external partners.
  • Analytical & Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, track performance, and implement corrective measures as needed.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Proven experience in building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders to support fire safety outcomes.
