I am working in partnership with a top class in-house maintenance team who are on the search for a highly skilled and proactive Multiskilled M&E Maintenance Technician to join one of their flagship commercial buildings contracts in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of mechanical and electrical systems to ensure optimal building performance and tenant satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on M&E systems, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and company procedures.

Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including air conditioning, ventilation, and heating systems.

Perform maintenance on electrical systems, such as lighting, power distribution, control panels, and emergency systems.

Monitor and maintain Building Management Systems (BMS) for efficient operation and troubleshooting.

Inspect and repair pumps, motors, fans, AHUs, FCUs, UPS systems, generators, and other critical plant equipment.

Conduct fault-finding and diagnostics on mechanical and electrical systems to minimise downtime and ensure business continuity.

Respond promptly to service requests and breakdowns, ensuring timely resolutions with minimal disruption.

Assist in overseeing third-party contractors and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, asset conditions, and completed repairs.
Requirements
- C&G / NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in electrical installations (essential)
- 17th/18th Edition (essential)
- Min. 3 years building services maintenance experience in commercial environment (essential)
