Position Summary:

As an Area Officer in Grounds Maintenance, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of projects across multiple sites. This is a varied and rewarding position, requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Liaison: Communicating with clients to understand their needs and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Quoting & Planning Work: Preparing quotes, scheduling jobs, and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Ordering Materials & Equipment: Managing the procurement of necessary materials, tools, and hire machinery.
  • Accommodation & Logistics: Booking accommodation for teams when required.
  • Compliance & Safety: Compiling Risk Assessments and Method Statements to ensure safe working practices.
  • Admin & Reporting: Checking timesheets, vehicle and equipment inspections, and maintaining records.
  • Use of IT Systems: Working with Microsoft Excel and Outlook to manage schedules, reports, and communication.

What We're Looking For:

  • Full UK driving license (Essential)
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Reliable and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Outlook (or similar systems).
  • Good communication skills and a friendly approach.
  • Experience in grounds maintenance or a related field (preferred but not essential).
