Our client, a thriving music booking agency is seeking an experienced聽Contracts Manager聽who has experience and understanding of the live music industry.
Key responsibilities will include:
路 Managing and overseeing contracts across the agency booking process.
路Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a seamless execution of contracts.
路 Drafting, reviewing, and issuing Terms of Business to new clients.
路Negotiating, drafting, and issuing of contracts for domestic and international performances within deadlines.
路Reviewing Offer Letters for shows and festivals.
路 Summarising rights and advising team of legal obligation for client contracts.
路 Overseeing, managing, and training the Contracts Assistant.
路 Collaborating with the Finance Manager regarding tax management for international shows.
路 Reviewing and updating contract templates annually.
路 Overseeing insurance policies working with senior management.
路 Supporting with the monitoring and development of internal systems and making recommendations of best practice.
路 Maintaining a library of executed agreements.
路 Developing the technical process for contract creation and storage.
Requirements:
路 Substantial experience in a contracting role within music essential.
路 Sound knowledge of the live events industry and understanding of commercial/agency contracts.
路 Confident negotiator.
路 Able to work across complicated international and domestic contracts with a range of company sizes.
路 Experience working across split contracts and international tax management is desirable.
路 Meticulous attention to detail.
路 Robust prioritisation skills and problem solving abilities.
路 Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines.
路 Adaptable approach to work.
路 Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and Adobe.
路 Team collaboration and management experience.
路 Awareness of legal changes and their impact on the industry.
