About the Company
My client are a successful multi disciplined utility contractor within the UK who turn over 15M and have several arms to the business. They have over 100M worth of frameworks primarily with Anglian and Severn Trent Water. The projects range in value from 3M up to 20M and are mainly clean river schemes, large trunk mains, diversions, cross country pipeline and associated civil works. The other ams of the business include, directional drilling, plant hire and an infrastructure arm. They are very well funded and have a small but successful team who run the business.
About the opportunity
They are looking for someone with a background in Rail to come in and help grow the new rail arm of the business. This is a rare opportunity for someone with contacts within the rail industry to help start a new division within an already thriving and profitable business. The financial backing is already in place and you would be stepping in and bringing your vision of how you could grow this new arm of the business. You would also be a shareholder within the business so there would be a lot to gain financially from this project. They are looking for someone who is entrepreneurial and willing to be part of this exciting journey. You will ideally have spent your whole career in a rail environment.

This is a unique opportunity and so there is no limit as to the financial side. If you are the right candidate then they will be able to come to an agreement with you. You will be a shareholder in the business and that percentage can also be discussed during the interview process.
About the requirements
You will bring with you a vision and a plan as to how you can grow a new rail arm. Ideally you will come from a Project Management background and an Engineering background.
