JobMatcha are recruiting for a driven Contracts Manager to oversee the entire lifecycle of contracts on a project we are involved in based in Enfield.
A Contract Manager oversees the entire lifecycle of contracts within an organization, ensuring they align with business goals and legal requirements. They draft, negotiate, and execute contracts, monitor compliance, and mitigate risks. This role also involves building relationships with clients and suppliers and may require knowledge of specific industries like construction.

- 10 Hours per day (on site and paid)

Key Responsibilities:
Contract Drafting and Negotiation:
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with various parties, ensuring they are legally sound and meet business needs.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Monitoring contract compliance, identifying and mitigating potential risks, and ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
Relationship Management:
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders
Contract Administration:
Managing the entire contract lifecycle, from pre-award to post-completion, including tracking progress, managing changes, and handling disputes.
Reporting and Analysis:
Preparing reports on contract performance, analysing data, and providing recommendations for improvement
Budget and Schedule Management:
Managing budgets and schedules for contracts, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
Communication:
Clearly communicating contract terms and conditions to all parties involved, both internally and externally
Competencies and Requirements for the position:
- Must have Right to Work in the UK
- A degree in construction engineering or management
- Experience working on construction projects
- Knowledge of construction industry, methods, and materials
- Understanding of legal documentation and budgets
- Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
- Problem-solving, initiative, and judgment skills
- Computer, maths, and IT skills
- Time management and project control skills
