Job Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager on behalf of our Social Housing client to ensure the effective delivery of legislative repair activities for all Group residential properties. In this role, you will oversee projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards. You will provide technical expertise, contract management, planning, and administrative support, working closely with the Senior Technical Officer and Repairs Manager to meet regulatory responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct repair surveys to assess defects and recommend cost-effective solutions.
  • Manage contractors, monitor progress, and ensure contract obligations are met.
  • Develop and implement contract management strategies and policies.
  • Support the implementation of new contracts with procurement teams.
  • Review existing services for efficiencies and cost reductions.
  • Monitor contract performance, including service level agreements and key performance indicators.
  • Ensure data integrity for compliance and reporting.
  • Provide consultative support on complex Asset Management issues.
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage budgets and ensure compliance with financial controls.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in contract management, especially in disrepair and complex repairs.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in property management.
