Contracts Supervisor

Workman's Recruitment is partnering with a highly regarded and long-established Social Housing Contractor renowned for its exceptional service in offering building maintenance and construction services to housing associations, councils, and the education sector for over the last 80 years in London and surrounding home counties

You will need a background in Carpentry, Fire Door Installations, and experience managing a team of trade staff across multiple sites. Ideally within the social housing sector.

You will be traveling and covering sites based in Islington, North London.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day activities at the site level, ensuring work is conducted safely, and in compliance with Health and Safety legislation, to BM Trada Standards.
• Managing a team of skilled FRA Carpenters and Fire Stoppers across multiple sites.
• Establishing solid relationships with clients, the public, and subcontractors
• Conduct pre-work inspections, set up work areas, and post-inspections
• Monitoring team productivity, reporting progress to the Contracts Manager, and ensuring on-site welfare checks will also be critical responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Full UK Drivers License
• CSCS - Black Manager Card
• BM Trada Fire Door Installation
• BM Trada Fire Door Maintenance
• BM Trada Fire Stopping Installation
• Construction Management NVQ Level 6
• SMSTS or SSSTS

• Monday to Friday
• 40 Hours Per Week
