AnM&E Contractor, with a focus on resi and commercial projects valued between 5m - 20m, is looking to hire an M&E Contracts Manager to service their growing project portfolio.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare, negotiate, and administer contracts for M&E projects, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
  • Manage contract variations, extensions, and claims.
  • Ensure that contract documentation, including schedules, quality control procedures, and safety standards, are followed.
  • Act as the main point of contact between the client, subcontractors, and the internal project team.
  • Monitor the progress of M&E projects, ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
  • Oversee project budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled and in line with contract specifications.
  • Provide regular financial reports and forecasts, including cost estimates and variances.
  • Attend meetings with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to discuss project progress, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Ensure clear and timely communication between all parties involved.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to contract specifications.

Required Skills and Attributes:

  • At least 5 years of experience in M&E contract management or project management in the construction or engineering industry.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and the ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings.
  • Experience in managing large-scale M&E projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Knowledge of contract law and experience in preparing and negotiating contracts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
